It didn't actually break me too much. I picked up my Hungarian devotional, lit a candle, bundled up on the couch and was ready to have some quiet time. I caught myself being actually thrilled to be "so cut off". I enjoyed this blissful state for about 15 minutes when husband showed up with help, our co-worker. They figured out what was wrong and restored the power. My Christmas lights came back on, I heard the washer starting up again and my iPad began beeping as emails were flowing in again.
I was utterly bummed.
After my visit at the doctor's this morning I decided to stop at the yarn shop in town. It's tiny and has hardly any selection, but I found the coolest yarn for my baby blanket I'm knitting for PolkaDude, my little boy who is due on May 7. It is grey and white ombré and 100% sheep whool.
It will be perfect!
Okay, I have 2% battery left on my device so I better wrap this up quick.
