So much happened since the last time I blogged.
Well, my parents and brother from Hungary came to visit between September 2 and 6. It was pretty short time but I think we made the most of it!
We visited Vasto and Termoli, also Rome for a few short hours on Saturday just before they flew out. The guys went to the sea every day, even the first day when the sea was angry, stormy and dark.

Then, Scott and Benjamin both started their school. Benjamin went to FIRST GRADE!! What a change! He generally likes it, but not the homeworks. He doesn't have a lot, but he is not used to it and complains about it. He colors two mushrooms then imitates fainting saying he is deadly tired. We are hoping we are gonna get better at this.
I started working again at the office. Every morning we gather for prayer but then I am allowed to work from home which is the BEST news for me. It takes away so much stress. I work mostly on the computer so it is very nice to be able to do it from home. I can still start a load of laundry or put in a pan of lasagne in the oven between emails. I have flexible hours so I can work even in the afternoon or evening. Love it!!
Scott and I are still meeting our language helpers. They are simply the best! We are so grateful for them to God, they are becoming our friends as well.
There are some other stuff going on in our life but I am not ready to discuss that just yet.
Fall is back which makes me really really REALLY happy! Although fall in this part of Italy is not like in Michigan or anything, but I still love it all the same.
Going down on memory lane....fall in Michigan a couple of years ago
2012 October
Football of course
Pumpkin festival in Zeeland, MI
2011 October
Halloween
Oh well.
We are in Italy now and though there are no Bath and Bodyworks with delicious seasonal lotions and candles, hay bales, pumpkins or many falling leaves even, I will try to make the most of this season. I honestly don't really remember our first fall here, last year, probably because of all the unsettledness and everything. We have just arrived in Italy on the 1st of September. Everything was new, language, people, culture, work.... the last thing I was probably "worried about" was fall and decorations.
There were no fall festivals, Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkin and hay displays in front of the supermarkets and it turned winter before we knew it.
So. I better get to making some plans.
Be back soon.
